Meet Dr. Anna:
Dr. Anna Chetnik,
PT DPT, Dip. MDT
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Diplomate, Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy
FRC® Certified
FR® Lower-Limb Certified
Animal Flow® Level 2 Certified
I specialize in the treatment of all orthopedic/musculoskeletal conditions utilizing the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis & Therapy (MDT).
I received my Bachelors in Mathematics from Fordham University and my Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from The Sage Colleges.
I discovered the unique benefits of MDT in 2012, and have been training and practicing it ever since. I was drawn to the logical process of the McKenzie Method and its sensible approach to treatment.
As an advocate for movement, health and wellness, I stay active year round, with interests in outdoor activities including, running, hiking. I am a level 2 Animal Flow instructor, certified yoga instructor, and ski race coach.
On the personal side, I am a graduate of the F.H. LaGuardia High School for Arts and Performing Arts and I danced professionally in NYC with the Martha Graham Dance Ensemble.
Needless to say I’ve taken more than my share of spills, falls, and face plants so I practice what I preach. MDT has helped me recover from multiple injuries, so I don’t just listen to my patients — I’ve been there. Not only am I grateful for the healing powers of MDT, but I am in awe of the speed in which both I and my patients have seen results.
