Does HVPSC accept my insurance?

Hudson Valley Physio and Spine Care is a direct pay clinic. Payment is due at time of service via cash, check, credit card, debit card or HSA/FSA card.

While initially, you may think that this method will be more expensive, you will find that it is actually more economical with less hassle, while experiencing high quality care and treatment on your terms, not the terms of your health insurance company.

We now accept Kingston Trust Fund health insurance only.

What is a direct pay clinic?

A direct pay clinic is a clinic whose practitioners opt-out of the insurance-based reimbursement system. These practitioners can spend more time with their patients and prescribe the medications and treatments that their patients need – not just what the insurer wants.

Traditionally, a patient receives a prescription for physical therapy from a physician stating the patient attend therapy 2-3 x a week for 6-8 weeks. With copays in upwards of $50 or the rising deductibles, total price for treatment will exceed $700. At Hudson Valley Physio and Spine Care, you will receive care one-on-one from a Doctor of Physical Therapy for the entire allotted time, in a private setting, without the use of aides or assistants. No referral is needed as Doctors of Physical Therapy are trained to be primary providers for those in need of musculoskeletal / orthopedic care. Most patients see a rapid resolution of symptoms in about 5 visits, thereby saving you time and money.

  • Initial Physical Therapy Examination (Approx. 60 minutes) - $150 

  • Physical Therapy Follow Up Treatments (45 - 60 minutes) - $115

Cancellation Policy:

A 24-hour notice is required to cancel or reschedule your appointment. The full amount will be charged for missing the appointment if said notice is not provided. All missed appointment fees must be paid prior to making further appointments.
